Peter J. Bregman, DPM
“My philosophy is simply NO PAIN in most cases….and to get you back on your feet as soon as possible without causing any pain. In most cases surgery is pain free even after the procedure has been done. We also make sure that we listen carefully to all of your concerns and answer all questions.” We choose quality of care over quantity.”
- Dr. Peter Bregman
Dr. Bregman has been in private practice for 13 years and has served as Chief Podiatric surgeon since 1996. He completed a 2 year rigorous surgical residency program at Cambridge Hospital a Harvard affiliated teaching facility. Dr. Bregman was appointed with the responsibility of Chief resident in recognition of his clinical and professional skills and has received the "Attending of the year" award from his residents..
Dr. Bregman has special interests in Peripheral Neuropathy and Pediatric foot problemsand has been performed many successful reconstructive surgeries for flat feet and other congenital deformities and continues to learn the latest techniques. He also had completed advanced training in peripheral nerve surgery and has performed the most nerve related surgeries in the lower extremity in Massachusetts. All areas of treatment of the foot and ankle are always being fine tuned and updated. “We believe in constantly exploring new ideas and concepts if it will benefit the patient.” This is evidenced by our use of TOPAZ Coblation treatment for heel pain and using the patients own blood/platelets for healing foot problems. We are one of the few offices to have diagnostic Ultrasound in the office. Dr. Bregman continues to be active in teaching, lecturing around the country and writing publications in scientific journals. He currently is teaching his techniques to future surgeons from the Cambridge hospital.
Dr. Bregman was raised in New Jersey and moved to the Boston area for his residency and never left. He has traveled all over the world to expand and sharpen his skills and to help and educate others. He now resides in Arlington.
We have the best office staff around always willing to help. If you are not happy, we are not happy.
In his spare time you can find Dr. Bregman on the golf course or riding his Harley. He also is an avid music fan. You can even find his rescue Greyhound Lexi here sometimes.
