Before seeing Dr. Bregman, who was highly recommended to me by my General Practitioner, I had very bad foot pain and severe numbness in all my toes on both feet. I had a hard time walking any distance at all. I have had terrible foot and ankle pain since childhood and have seen many doctors. None of which helped my problem at all. I even wore orthotics for over ten years. I have a job which requires me to be on my feet, on a cement floor, sometimes for ten hours a day which doesn’t help my foot problem. On my first visit, I had a simple, painless nerve test done by Deb and Dr. Bregman was able to diagnose my problem right away. I was scheduled for surgery in July 2006. I can honestly say, I had no pain whatsoever after the surgery. I didn’t need so much as an asprin for pain. The hardest part of the surgery was not being able to move around like I wanted to, not because I wasn’t able but because I was instructed to stay off my foot. Now I no longer have numbness in my foot. I’m looking forward to having my other foot done in the spring. |
